How to use the Snore Attack Shield

The Snore Attack Shield is designed to sit behind your lips and in front of your teeth.
The Shield has square ‘tabs’ to bite on, for those who are using the Shield without a oral appliance or with a single-arch oral splint.

Trimming the Snore Attack Shield

If the tabs get in the way of your device, you can cut them off by using a sharp pair of scissors, as per the guide. Be careful not to perforate the Shield when doing this.

If you find the Shield is too long, you can trim the edges with a sharp pair of scissors, as per the guide.

Daily Cleaning Instructions

1. Place the Snore Attack Shield back into the Snore Attack Shield bag and fill with tap water.
2. Add a Snore Attack Cleaning Tablet into the water.
3. Soak the Shield all day and rinse thoroughly before use.
4. Use a new solution of cleaner every day. Soak the Shield every day.

The Snore Attack Shield is suitable for treating:

Tongue base hypopnoea or apnoea.

Mouth breathers.

TMD patients for whom further advancement of their MAS is out of the question.

The Snore Attack shield is not suitable for treating:

Users who have nasal patency issues. Some patients may benefit from nasal strips if they have nasal valve patency issues only and their nose is deemed otherwise patent by an ENT.
